We work closely with our GP clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their team, investment strategy, and execution capability. Our knowledge of and relationships with institutional investors enables us to advise our clients how to best position and present themselves to the multiple types of potential institutional limited partners.
Reflecting the dynamic nature of institutional investor portfolio allocations, we are essentially agnostic about the investment strategies we might represent at any given time. We will work with a wide variety of GPs and strategies, but we have a core set of guiding principles:
CREDIBILITY WITH BOTH GPs AND LPs IS OUR BIGGEST ASSET
Credibility is key to long-term success for us and our client GPs. We are highly selective about which GPs we represent, and LPs recognize that. We earn further credibility with LPs by being consistently respectful of their time and decisions. We earn credibility with our GP clients with our insightful approach, hard work and the methodical process we execute in marketing their funds.
We seek to build long-term relationships with our GP clients. Mutual integrity, performance, continuity, respect and credibility are key. If a potential GP client is not ready for the institutional market, we will advise them what critical elements need to be in place before we would consider undertaking an assignment.
We seek out GPs pursuing “in demand” investment strategies that investors will view favorably during the fundraising period. We complement that with forward-looking, disciplined fundraising strategies that maximize the likelihood of a successful fundraise.
GIVE FULL ATTENTION TO EACH CLIENT
Each client gets senior-level resources from us. We keep our clients fully informed and updated throughout the fundraising. We do not take on more engagements than would allow us to devote full attention to our clients. We do not simultaneously represent GPs with competing fund strategies without their consent
